NETWORK DESIGN AND ENGINEERING
Until
recently, designing a communications network was fairly
straightforward - whether it is for voice, data or video.
First, determine the amount of traffic during the busy hour
and configure the required bandwidth, then determine which
carrier could provide the most cost effective connectivity.
Things have changed! With technological
innovations, networks are no longer just groupings of
circuits. It is unusual to design a network today that does
not carry both voice and data and possibly video traffic.
Most of the Other Common Carriers today provide VPN's,
software‑designed networks, packet‑switched networks as well
as fixed point‑to‑point circuits. Many of today's networks
contain at least some dial‑up capability within the
hierarchy. Your organization may be large enough to benefit
from such an arrangement.
Our firm has the capability and
experience in designing total networks, portions of networks
or reconfiguring existing networks. As with many of our
services, this consultancy consists of three phases. |
